Sébastien Carliez

Sébastien brings three decades of communications experience with international organizations worldwide. From 2005 to 2024, he served with the International Committee of the Red Cross in various professional and leadership roles, including Director of Communication and Information Management, Head of External and Internal Communications, Head of Public Communications, and Head of Media and Public Relations.

Previously, Sébastien spent nearly a decade working in the Middle East (Gaza, Iraq, Jordan, and Yemen) with organizations including the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the United Nations Development Programme, France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and NGOs.

Sébastien began his career as a radio and television journalist in France. He holds master's degrees in journalism and international relations from Sorbonne University of Paris, and a bachelor's degree in economics from Dauphine University of Paris.
