Our response to COVID-19

“The Centre needs to be commended for its very timely initiative in 2020 on analysing the role of the security sectors in managing the extraordinary and consequential impact of COVID-19 while steadfastly promoting the observance of international norms of democracy and human rights.”
Mely Caballero-Anthony, Professor of International Relations, Singapore

HealthCrisis.png The pandemic revealed and exacerbated inadequacies in security and justice systems and, in some cases, highlighted the need for reform. From the outset we responded to our partners’ emerging needs while identifying opportunities to increase resilience and collaboration between security institutions, other government organisations, and civil society.
