[Burkina Faso] DCAF and the Ministry of Security

On 4 December, DCAF's Burkina Faso team was received by Burkina Faso's Security Minister, S.E. Ousséni Compaoré.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the future partnership between DCAF and the Ministry. The discussions highlighted the importance for security forces to take on board the approach that has been adopted by the government since the 2017 Security Forum.

In 2021, there will be many opportunities for cooperation, especially in reference to the framework agreement according to which the National Security Policy's strategic commitments will be put into action.
