The Mediterranean Strategic Meetings

The Mediterranean Strategic Meetings are France's leading geopolitical event. Every year, these two days take place in Toulon, in the south of France, and offer a rich programme with more than 13 round tables and 4 presentations.

These discussions are led by more than 70 experts, researchers, senior officials and industry representatives, as well as civil and military authorities. The originality of these meetings lies in the FMES institute's desire to bring together operational, academic and technological perspectives in order to decipher the major geopolitical issues in the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East and their impact on the region, France and the European Union.

More than 3,000 participants are in attendance, including students, defence industry representatives, military personnel, diplomats, politicians, journalists and academics.

Join us, Wednesday 8 October, 15:15: "L'Europe sous pression : comment organiser une défense crédible face aux menaces ?"
