Darko Stančić

As head of the Europe Asia team Darko oversees a diverse portfolio of programmes focused on promoting peace, fostering security dialogues, and strengthening democratic governance.

With more than three decades of experience in peacebuilding and development, he has designed, managed, and advised on initiatives that promote good governance in regions undergoing complex transitions.

His expertise spans public sector and security sector reform in conflict and post-conflict settings, local governance development, and humanitarian assistance. He has also been directly involved in the strategic planning and execution of national-level elections in post-war environments.
