It was part of an initiative to regionalize police education and bring up-to-date knowledge to officers across the country. Deputy director of Police Education, Commissioner of Police José Reynaldo Servellón told participants, “We hope to see the results when you will replicate this training in your units.” The Honduras National Police have also conducted a gender self-assessment to identify gaps and opportunities for change.
