Quade Hermann

Prior to joining DCAF in 2019, Quade worked in Kuwait, South Sudan, Sudan, and Myanmar as a communications specialist with the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, M.H. Alshaya Co, Black Knight Media Group, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the British Council, among others.

Quade started her career as a journalist and radio producer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where her work won several awards, including a Silver Medal in Radio Documentary at the New York Festival.

She has a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of British Colombia.
