Peace Dialogue implements a project to facilitate access to information on non-combat related fatalities in the Armenian Armed Forces

In Armenia, Peace Dialogue has implemented the Safe Soldiers for a Safe Armenia project, which seeks to improve transparency and accountability in the armed forces by facilitating access to information on non-combat related fatalities.

By comparing official data (or the lack thereof) with publicly available information on non-combat related fatalities that have occurred in the Armenian Armed Forces since 1994, as well as cases of human rights violations among servicemembers, the project aims to improve the protection and promotion of human rights in the armed forces.
