In Mexico the Centro de Colaboracin Cvica CCC developed a spotlight report on Mexicos efforts to implement SDG13 and SDG16 by surveying a variety of academics civil society actors and private sector stakeholders Spotlight reports also referred to as shadow reports or parallel reports play an important role in international monitoring processes They may offer insights from diverse voices with multisectoral backgrounds and provide a gender focus to the topic The dialogue created by these reports is important to improve the progress on the 2030 Agenda to collectively achieve its goals
