What is the role of Intergovernmental Organisations (IGOs) in Security Sector Reform (SSR)?

IGOs play an important role in supporting national SSR programming and delivery. In virtually all recent and current SSR programmes, IGOs have either led the eff orts of the international community or supported the lead provided by other actors.
