Emma Ingemansson is a project manager for the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) in Tunisia. She is mainly responsible for projects and programmes in the fields of prison reform, complaints mechanisms, fight against torture and transitional justice and SSR.

Previous to joining DCAF, Emma worked for the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), the European Union and as a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), mostly based in the field in countries such as Lebanon, DRC, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia. She also has experience from the Swedish administration, working for the Swedish prison and probation office.

Emma holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Lund, Sweden, and at Sciences Po Strasbourg.  She also studied Human Rights at the University of Gothenburg.  Emma speaks Swedish, English and French.
