PLANNED ACTIVITIES Support to the UN DPKO/UNPOL Division to undertake a capacity needs assessment April to September 2010 The UN DPKO’s Police Division requested ISSAT’s assistance to support the Police Selection and Recruitment Section within the Division in undertaking an initial capacity needs assessment, to be able to identify the key requirements for United Nations deployments taking into account the complex role of United Nations policing including work on establishing, reforming and developing policing institutions. >>more information Swiss SSR Training and Train the Trainers Course 7 – 11 June 2010, Geneva, Switzerland The Swiss Department of Defence will host an Introductory Security Sector Reform (SSR) Training Course from the 7 – 9 June, and an SSR Train the Trainers course from 9 – 11 June.
