DCAF’s work on "Making Intelligence
Accountable" focuses on the challenge of reconciling the need
for transparent and democratic oversight of intelligence services,
with the operational demand for secrecy in intelligence activities.
This project aims to engage stakeholders both inside and outside
the intelligence community in a dialogue designed to generate an
awareness of the need for transparent governance of intelligence
services, and promoting best practice through a series of publications
and workshops.
