Cécile Guy is a Project Officer for DCAF's Middle East and North Africa Division, working on its North Africa desk. She coordinates the relations between DCAF's headquarters in Geneva and DCAF's field office in Tunis and is involved in the development and implementation of various projects, mainly in Tunisia and Morocco.
Prior to joining DCAF, CÃ©cile worked at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany, and at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland.
Cécile holds a graduate degree in Political Science from the University of Heidelberg. She wrote a thesis on "The Lebanese consociational democracy between constitution and reality".
Cécile speaks French, German and English and has a working knowledge of Arabic.
