Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Regional Programme

DCAF's Programme on the Middle East and North Africa was established to provide DCAF with advice and guidance in developing and implementing a programme of work on good governance of the security sector in the wider Middle East.

It collects information, undertakes research and encourages the exchange of knowledge at the national, sub-regional and regional levels, with a view to assisting interested governments, parliaments, governmental and non-governmental organisations, both national and international, in the Middle East in their efforts to improve accountability of the security sector. The Working Group draws on the knowledge of practitioners, policy-makers, academics, and other experts on and from the Middle East.
